Kelechi Ohanaja
Kelechi Ohanaja is a former SEC football player and three-year starter whose competitive experience at the highest level of collegiate athletics informs every aspect of his practice. Competing in the Southeastern Conference — widely regarded as the premier conference in college football — Kelechi developed the discipline, preparation, and mental toughness required to perform on the biggest stages in college sports.
Following his collegiate career, Kelechi earned an opportunity with the Washington Redskins organization, gaining firsthand insight into the business realities of professional football — from contract structures and roster negotiations to the transition beyond active play. Having experienced both the opportunity and the uncertainty that come with elite athletics, he understands the stakes behind every decision an athlete or coach must make.
Today, Kelechi focuses his practice on representing collegiate athletes in Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) negotiations and advising coaches in employment and contract matters. At his core, he views his role as being in the advice business. Deals come and go — but judgment, positioning, and long-term strategy are what define careers. Kelechi works to ensure his clients are not simply signing contracts, but making informed decisions that align with their broader goals.
As a former SEC starter, Kelechi understands the balance between performance, branding, academics, leadership responsibilities, and professional aspirations. That perspective allows him to provide representation that is not purely transactional, but strategic and personal.
Kelechi takes a holistic approach to client representation. He believes contracts should reflect not only market value, but career trajectory, reputation, and long-term opportunity. Whether negotiating NIL agreements, structuring endorsement partnerships, reviewing coaching contracts, or advising on brand development strategy, he ensures that each decision supports sustainable success — on the field, on the court, and beyond.
